Recycle Buddy was created to bring more awareness to that gap in a simple, fun way.

K LABS designed the bins, the branding, and the website — taking the idea from concept through prototyping and final production. We worked with a 3D-printing partner to build both the initial prototypes and the full-sized bins. The final pieces were placed at a coffee shop, a school, and a mini-golf course, each using clear, surprising stats to get people to think for a second about what they’re throwing away.
